what is the best way to explain why harley davidson is so overated and sought after?

Harley's have been associated with being a 'tough guy.'
This was, at one time, partially true. Not anymore. Hasn't been true for a long time.
Also, there is the whole "MADE IN AMERICA" deal. Also, not true. Hasn't been true for a long time. They are assembled in the United States, using a good percentage of American made parts, but still, not "MADE IN AMERICA."
I like my HArley because it vibrates and has a whole bunch of torque, but I do not believe the bike is superior to any other in technology, speed, handling, braking, fuel economy, etc....
I just like it. AND, I also like my Suzuki.
