My 2000 Fiat punto keeps making a weird clunking noise when i press my brake pedal. It only hapens at slow speeds, if i am driving at a good speed the breaks work fine, it is only when i am coming to a stop. the brake disks have plenty of life left in them as i have had them checked from a few garages, all of which dont know wot the problem is. Also after driving for around 20 minutes the noise will completly stop when stopping.
Some people think my abs sensors need cleaning, others say have it hooked to a computer to get fault codes etc but i dont want to pay out £50 if its a problem i can fix.
any ideas guys? or am i about to part with my well eared job seekers money?
