...insurance policy? For instance, if you are pulled over, when you show your insurance to the officer, can he actually somehow CONFIRM the policy? Or, if you don't have proof on you, but you go to court for a no insurance ticket and show your insurance card to the courts/judge, can they actually verify it somehow? I know that the DMV here in Arizona, and I believe in California, the insurance company will contact the DMV and inform them if you are no longer insured. But, if this has not happened, can it be confirmed that your policy actually exists with the insurance company?
