Most people will never get a chance to experience the rush that comes with piloting a top-tier race car around a track. Many people cure this shortcoming in life with video games.
One of the biggest names in online motorsports gaming is iRacing.com, and they are adding a new piece of metal to the garage for 2012 – a CTS-V Coupe race car. The iRacing team visited the racing gurus at Pratt & Miller Engineering to get a hands on of the real car. Extensive measurements are taken to maintain the level of realism that iRacing fans have come to expect. To ensure the total CTS-V experience has been captured, there will be recorded sounds of the Cadillac’s engine.
Why would iRacing be interested in a Cadillac? Besides its two First Place podium finishes last year in the Pirelli World Challenge GTS Series, the CTS-V Coupe is a member of the fastest family of production cars in the world.
