The customer satisfaction outfit for consumer products, J.D. Power Associates recently awarded Volvo in a surprising market. In Germany, vehicles from Japan, the United States and other countries compete for satisfaction with the made-in-Germany heavyweights. Among all the automobile brands sold in Germany, the swedish Volvo was named number one by J.D. Power beating out all other manufactures who have dominated in the past.

Gaining podium places in their respective segments were two Volvo models. In the medium segment, the Volvo V50 won silver, securing third place in the overall ranking of all models. In the executive class, the Volvo V70 won bronze. “We are extremely satisfied with this result since the customers are the experts on the strengths and weaknesses in their cars, and also because premium car customers are particularly demanding,” said Stefan Jacoby, President and CEO, Volvo Car Corporation.
