Everything Is Important. Those are the words Rob Dickinson spray painted on the walls of Singer Vehicle Design, and he meant it.
Singer’s latest creations ring true with that purpose. Only the best, or even better, will do for the North Hollywood Porsche shop. The accolades heaped upon them since their 2009 inception are justified more and more every time a new car rolls into the sunlight.
That sunlight will be shining at the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance and The Palm Event in Palm Beach when Singer brings their latest ‘Restored, Reimagined and Reborn’ 911s to the stage.
In keeping with Singer’s usual naming traditions, both bespoke cars are named after their final destination, where the keys will be handed over to their new owners. The North Carolina car’s carbon fiber panels are drenched in a deep, shiny Blood Red Dark paint, while the Florida car’s gorgeous blue paint is fittingly called Hemingway Blue.
Boasting 4.0 liter engines with almost 400 hp, over 300 lb-ft of torque and sitting pretty on Ohlins suspension, both cars manage to be menacing and beautiful at the same time. Imagine Kate Winslet holding a bazooka. Curves galore but you can also tell they mean business.
That business is important to Dickinson and Singer Vehicle Design. Everything is important, and it shows.
