Nobody will argue that Audi makes handsome cars, but many will complain that their exterior design is safe and slightly boring.
And then Audi comes along with the Allroad Shooting break concept at the Detroit Auto Show. It’s a low, sleek two-door crossover that strikes me as a combination between Range Rover Evoque and Audi A3 wagon.
With almost off-road wagons like the Subaru Outback and Volvo XC70 getting closer and closer to full-blown SUVs every generation, I appreciate seeing Audi come back to attack this end of the market.
Currently, the Allroad Shooting Brake has no plans for production, but I can’t help but think Audi is testing the waters after the breakout success the Evoque has been for Land Rover.
