With Gran Turismo Sport making waves in the automotive circles thanks to its unique take on simulation racing as a sport, Forza Motorsport has decided to jump in on the action. But rather than making you buy a new a game, Turn 10 is going to integrate these new competitive social racing features directly into Forza 6. Details are still slim at the moment, but it will be called Forza Racing Championship.
The idea is that there will be several tiers of racers and a vast multitude of challenges and goals so that players of all skill levels can enjoy themselves and potentially win prizes. To celebrate the announcement, as well as the return of Ford to Le Mans, all players will receive the Ford GT Le Mans racer for free. Just log in to Xbox Live and redeem the code in your messages.
Expect more details about this new eSports initiative to drop at E3 next week.
