With the announcement that Volvo was bringing the Polestar tuned V60 wagon to the states, it shared that the Polestar tuned S60 sedan would be coming with it. That means the same 245 horsepower turbo 6-cylinder and same 4.7 second sprint to 60 mph, but you lose the look of the five-door.
For many the S60 is going to be the model of choice, as the sedan style can be off-putting to many American buyers. I swing to the wagon side of the conversation, but it is hard to argue against the striking good looks of the S60.
Trying to snag one of these machines is going to be difficult. Volvo has said that there are only 120 Polestars coming Stateside. That allotment is split between the V60 and S60, but there are no official numbers as to what ratio they will arrive in. Best get your order in now.
