Let’s be honest: the Smart ForTwo isn’t the most appealing car for the automotive enthusiast. Sure, it may be novel and unique, but its underpinnings and purpose will never truly allow it to become an enthusiast vehicle. A Bulgarian custom design shop by name of Vilner has decided to change that with their 2011 Smart ForTwo.
In order to make the ForTwo more attractive, Vilner has made changes to just about every outside panel of the car. Orange “foil” and chrome cover the entire body and the orange wheels add even more flash to an otherwise flashy car. Every bit of the interior has been changed with new seats, lining, foot pads, and door panels. Vilner’s artwork has made the ForTwo city car, something that was already unmistakable, stand out even more.
This one-off 2011 Vilner Smart ForTwo may look truly unique, but nothing has been changed mechanically. So even though it looks extreme, it’s still slow. The Vilner may work wonders on the city streets, but it will not be winning any drag races anytime soon.
