The American electric car outfit known as Tesla has recently released new pictures of their next vehicle, the Model S. Given the name Alpha, this slightly revamped edition is very close to what the production model should look like. This full four door will have seating for five adults and two children, making it a seven seater. And just like its smaller brother the Roadster, the Model S Alpha is fully electric and emits absolute zero emissions.
The new pictures show off a more squared body with much more muscular lines than the previous concept. It is an aggressive looking car that looks like it could be a big cat Jaguar that makes far too much noise. Unlike the Jag, the Tesla is practically silent but will still hit 60 mph in 5.6 seconds. Still in development, Tesla plans on putting the Model S Alpha into production early 2012.
