Ford Motor has halted production of many of its small cars at the Michigan Assembly Plant in Wayne until the midnight shift early Monday morning, The Detroit News reported citing to the automaker’s information hotline.

The company’s Flat Rock Assembly Plant, which produces the Ford Mustang and Fusion sedan, is closed Monday and possibly longer because of a weather-induced parts shortage, according to United Auto Workers.

There are about 5,100 hourly employees at Michigan Assembly Plant and another 3,100 at Flat Rock.

“Ford’s Flat Rock Assembly and Michigan Assembly Plants are experiencing some down time the week of February 3 for weather-related parts shortages,” Ford spokeswoman Kristina Adamski said in an emailed statement.

Plant employees are urged to call (800) 603-3673 for schedule updates.
