Ford CEO Mark Fields will receive a salary and bonus package worth $5.25 million this year, reports The Detroit News.
Fields succeeded the retiring Alan Mulally, who received $2 million in salary and $5.88 million in bonus last year.
Fields will also get a number of perks including increased stock options and use of a private jet. His package includes a $1.75 million base salary — up from his $1.54 million base salary in 2013 as Ford’s chief operating officer — plus $3.5 million in incentive compensation.
In addition, the company offers Fields options to buy more than 710,000 shares of stock at an exercise price of $17.21 per share.
