Rolls Royce is constantly chasing perfection, and they just took their next step on that journey by announcing an all-new aluminum space frame that will form the basis of all future models. Rolls doesn’t do anything in a hurry though, so don’t expect to see the new design out until 2018 at the earliest.
The automaker is testing their new design globally in the early stages of developing the ultimate luxury car. It’s not often that you find a company like Rolls Royce completely killing a tried and proven design, so the news of this new platform is an exciting development. Without innovation there is no advance to the future and we’re all excited to see what is in store.
While the platform won’t be ready for production for a few years, keep your eyes open for a new concept to come from the company late this year or early in 2017.
