Toyota Motor is recalling 694,000 Sienna minivans in North America for rollaway risk, reports The Detroit News.
The recall covers 2004-2005 and 2007-2009 minivans to address problems with the shift lever assembly.
According to the automaker, it is possible that the shift lever could be moved out of the park position without the driver depressing the brake pedal. “This could result in a vehicle rollaway,” the company said.
