Maybe the sports car isn’t dying after all. Porsche released 2015 North American sales numbers and for the fourth year in a row sales have increased by double digit margins; setting a new record. In total, Porsche sold more than 50,000 cars this year.
The Cayenne and Macan were the top sellers. Combined they beat out the rest of the Porsche lineup entirely. We hope to see the sales trend continue in 2016 as Porsche continues to refine and perfect its lineup.
Increased sales will pave the way for more special edition cars in the future, not only for the 911 but also for the rest of what’s argued to be one of Porsche’s best lineups ever.
