Pagani is one of the newest names to enter the realm of respected supercar royalty. The little startup company bowed into existence less than 20 years ago, and many expected it to fade into the ether as quickly as it arrived. Surprisingly, the company has not only survived, but it has flourished. Pagani is now a name that is cemented into the supercar world along with Lamborghini and Ferrari. But what would have happened if Pagani started out in the late seventies or wild 1980s. If Pagani’s legendary Zonda were to be born in the decade of Madonna, big hair, and spandex leotards, what would it look like? Well for this #SupercarSunday, we have your answer.
Created by a Turkish designer by the name of Oguz Spiahioglu, this retro inspired Pagani Zonda takes the modern car’s shape and design cues, but molds them into a design that is much more suited to the era that brought us Miami Vice. While it may seem like a terrible idea to start with, it is hard to argue with the results. This squared machine looks every bit as good as the real car, and in some ways, I even like this render more than the actual production car.
