In order to create the next generation of dealership management systems, Microsoft Corp. and Nissan Motor Company have announced a joint partnership. The “stratigic relationship”, as the two companies call it, will be based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and should bring social networking tools together to close the gap between a customer and the dealer themselves. Japan will be the first market to recieve the system which will find itself global soon after. Each system will be specifically built for the individual country’s market.
“We look forward to working with Nissan to deliver a solution that effectively connects with their customers and to win in today’s business environment while also helping organizations such as Nissan meet the specific needs of the automotive industry,” said Kirill Tatarinov, president of Microsoft Business Solutions. “Customer loyalty and retention are essential to the success of any business. Microsoft Dynamics CRM helps businesses better understand and build deeper relationships with their customers and partners.” The next generation of opperating systems, Microsoft’s Azure, will be used as well as the networking wonder, Cloud. “We are delighted to be working with Microsoft to deliver the next-generation dealer management system.
