The Dark Knight Rises was the latest in movie in the Batman franchise a huge box-office hit. The movie is set to be released on DVD and Blu-Ray, and Nissan has decided to celebrate by building a car.
The Dark Knight Rises Juke is based on a Juke Nismo and comes packed with all sorts of extra goodies. The car is smothered in a sexy matte-black paint that seems to swallow light, and red details adorn the car from the wheels to the front lip. We aren’t much for the brightwork Batman logos that adorn the grille and rear trunklid, but the headrest embroidery is pretty slick. The coolest feature is a tie between the new shark-fin antenna that is reminiscent of the famous cowl and the internal lighting system that projects the bat signal on the roof.
The whole shebang is powered by the same 1.6-liter turbo you will find in the standard Juke, and the car comes with a six-speed manual. We always thought the Menacing Juke-R looked a little like something Batman would drive, and it appears Nissan agrees with us.
