Nissan and Electronic Arts have collaborated to bring the Nissan LEAF and its charging stations into the latest version of SimCity.
The city-building strategy game allows users to create EV-friendly cities with up to five charging stations branded with the Nissan logo. With the charging stations in place, the user-built cities begin populating with LEAF vehicles – and users get a “wave of happiness,” or points, for being green.
Gamers also see the “EV smiles” on their Sims’ faces as they’re driving along. And to further bring the LEAF to life for Sims users, they can visit Nissan’s online calculator to see how LEAF “happiness” translates in real life saving.
The LEAF is the only EV currently in the game.
