Nissan is heading to the Frankfurt Auto Show and it seems that they are bringing a surprise new concept. We have no information about this new car, but Nissan says they are building on the success from machines like the Juke, Qashqai and X-Trail. They also mention the costs of a hatchback coupled to the look of a 4×4 and with “luxury-rivaling” equipment. Yeah, I can’t really figure out what that means either. Unless it’s something like a big angry looking crossover that is actually just a Nissan Versa with AroundView.

All shall be revealed in a bit over a week when the Frankfurt Auto Show comes around, so expect to see and hear a lot more then. For now, just take a gander at the darkened header image with its angry grille and funky headlights. It kind of reminds me of the IDx concept mixed with the new Maxima. I like it.

Now one thing that will be very interesting to watch is the car’s intended market. This is being launched at European show, and the press release specifically calls out the Qashqai, a machine we don’t get stateside. This could be another EU only model, but
