Nissan has named Mark Stout, currently vice president of human resources in the Americas, to the role of divisional general manager, global talent management at the company’s global headquarters in Yokohama, Japan.
Stout will be responsible for guiding global Nissan talent management activities as well as coordinating with the Renault-Nissan Alliance HR group to nurture a wider global talent pool. He joined Nissan in 1989 and has held a number of HR positions of increasing responsibilities.
Andrew Tavi, currently vice president, legal and government affairs, and general counsel Americas, has been appointed as vice president, legal, government affairs and HR, and general counsel, Americas.
Tavi started his career with Nissan in 2009. Previously, he was worked at Noble International Ltd., leading the company for nearly four years as general counsel and ultimately as CEO.
Both appointments are effective Aug. 18.
