The 2013 Nissan Altima continues to receive awards and its latest comes from Edmonds.com who placed the Altima on its ’17 Best Cars You Can Buy’ list.
Among the notable features, Edmonds.com points out the Altima’s impressive fuel economy, user-friendly integrated technology, its impressive powertrain, and the car’s overall “balance between refinement and engagement.”

The redesign of the 2013 model has helped the Altima continue to earn impressive sales figures in its mid-size class. New styling throughout and clever interior features have greatly decreased any gap between itself and the competition.
The Altima’s fuel economy numbers are at their best when powered by the 182-horsepower, 2.5-liter four cylinder engine which is mated to Nissan’s Xtronic CVT transmission. For those looking for some extra grunt, a 270-horsepower, 3.5-liter V-6 engine is also offered.
Inside, the Altima offers standard Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity, SiriusXm satellite radio, Blind Spot Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and the Moving Object Detection system. New for the 2014 model, Nissan is offering their NissanConnectSM and NissanConnectSM Navigation systems that include a suite of Bluetooth phone connectivity features that like hands-free text message integration.
