Few things can occupy our time like a good online car builder. We can blow entire lunch breaks customizing our perfect vehicle. Porsche has one of the best online build tools, and has now opened the door for users to build the new Cayman.
You get to start with your choice of the 275 hp Cayman or the 325 hp Cayman S. The base car starts at $52,600 with the S ringing in at $63,800. Of course, this is a Porsche so that number can move up quickly. Our first build rang in at nearly $100k almost doubling the price of our Cayman S starting point. The options are not nearly as varied and comprehensive as those available on other Porsche models, but we expect that to change over time. We prefer a Cayman S in Guards Red with the model delete option, in case someone wanted to get Autotalk a present for the holidays.
