It has 5.0-liters of supercharged V8, will clip 60 mph from a dead stop in just 3.5 seconds, and if you keep your foot planted it will reach 200 mph. It has 575 horsepower, 516 lb-ft of torque, and it’s arguably the prettiest car on sale today. This is the new Jaguar F-Type SVR, and it’s the fastest series production car that Jaguar has ever produced. Oh, and you can order in both Coupe and Roadster configurations.
The creation of such a monster was relatively simple. Take the astounding F-Type R, cut weight, increase power, and then stiffen up the suspension a touch. The new supercar will be unveiled in Geneva next week, and Jag says they should start hitting customer garages by summer. I don’t know about you, but a 200 mph supercharged Jaguar roadster sounds like one hell of a way to enjoy the summer weather.
