Nancy Rae, will step down as human resources chief on Jan. 1, reports Detroit Free Press.
Rae has worked for Chrysler since 1978. She was named senior vice president of human resources in 2000, when Chrysler was controlled by Daimler AG.
Rae also is Chrysler’s highest paid female executive, and is among its five highest paid executives. In 2012, Rae earned $3.3 million, including a $374,130 bonus.
Rae will be replaced by Michael Keegan, who will become senior vice president of human resources.
Keegan will continue to serve as vice president supply chain management until a replacement is named. Keegan also will continue to be Chrysler’s sustainability officer and will become a member of the Group Executive Council for Fiat.
