The word salon is now synonymous with dealership according to Fiat USA. Michigan’s first Fiat dealership, called a ‘salon’, celebrated its grand opening in Macomb and will be over-seen by Galeana Automotive Group. This is also the first stand-alone Fiat dealership in Michigan.
Called a salon because of its “gallery-like” quality, the complex stands at 29,000 square feet and will sell four Fiat 500 models from $15,000 to $25,000. Fiat and Chrysler CEO, Sergio Marchionne attended the grand opening as well as more than 100 invited guests. “To be “the first” is one thing, but when you have a product as special as the Fiat 500, along with the ingenuity, support, and personal commitment of Mr. Marchionne to ensure its success — let’s just say that I am very excited to be a part of the team, and appreciate the confidence that Fiat has in my organization,” said salon owner Carl Galeana.
This salon brings the total number of USA Fiat dealerships to 58.
