This is another great news for all of us here in Georgia, Mercedes-Benz has decided to officially move its US headquarters to the Atlanta area. There have been speculations for months whether the company would move to Georgia or North Carolina.
This move will bring around 1,000 jobs to the region but the details are still not revealed. According to the sources close to the deal, New Jersey offered substantial incentives to the automaker in order to keep them from moving but they have still decided to move.
An official announcement is expected Tuesday. Atlanta is quickly becoming a major hub for Automotive companies due to excellent infrastructure, great working force and close access to interstates and world’s busiest airport.
