Mazda has been on a roll the last few years, and they are winning lots of awards to prove it. The recent redesign of the Mazda3, the all-new CX-3, and the new fourth-generation Mazda Miata are all beautiful, well priced and fun-to-drive cars that are stealing sales left and right from their competitors. Hot off the new design language that Mazda is now using, the Japanese company took home three different design awards in the Automotive Brand Contest.
The Automotive Brand Contest is sponsored by the German Design Council, and it awards manufacturers for designs that are fresh, smart or interesting, and there is a total of 19 awards, with 15 in the standard category, and four special awards.
Mazda was able to take home top honors for the CX-3 and the Bike by KODO concept. Mazda also won the award for Team of the Year for its entire design team.
A big congrats to the team at Mazda for not being afraid to make a car that looks interesting, dynamic and beautiful. Some other companies like Toyota or Volkswagen could take a lesson.
