Lexus is bringing something fast and exciting to Detroit.
This piece of blue sexy is the all-new Lexus RC F coupe, and its coming to take BMW’s lunch money. Based on the RC coupe that Lexus unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show, this new RC F is developed to be the most powerful V8 performance that has ever come from the Japanese marque.
Lexus is being very coy with the details they are revealing about this new coupe, and haven’t given exact details on the powerplant that will be inside the RC F, but expect output to be around 460 horsepower.
What Lexus did give us is a pile of new photos and lots of information about the visual design. Versus the normal RC, the RC F has wider wheels, an active rear wing, cooling ducts, air scoops and extra carbon fiber bits. Lexus says the interior of the new F is “cockpit-like” and the steering wheel, seats and trim are exclusive to the new model.
Lexus will have a full unveiling for the car at the Detroit Auto Show on January 14th. As always, keep your eyes here for all the official details on this exciting new sports car when they are released. For now, take a moment to look over the first collection of pictures we have here for you.
