The beautiful and powerful Lamborghini Huracán is only two years, but the Italian company has decided that it could do with a few extra changes and enhancements to make it even more desirable. Before you get too excited, there is no increase in speed, power or performance. Rather, these changes are smaller and based around quality of life improvements.
The big news is the addition of cylinder deactivation for the V10 engine. Under light loads, the engine shuts off an entire bank of cylinders turning the V10 into an inline-5, cutting emissions and boosting fuel economy. Of course, give it the boot and all 10 cylinders fire up to give you that glorious 600 horsepower.
Inside there is some extra leather around the cabin, and a few trim changes to make things feel more luxurious and comfortable overall. Lamborghini is also adding various interior option changes as part of their bespoke customization program Ad Personam.
If you are interested in any of these new options or changes, Lamborghini is taking orders for 2016 cars right now.
