On November 8, the next installment of the first person shooting war game, Modern Warfare 3 (MW3), will be released and to coincide with the game’s launch, the 2012 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Special Edition will hit dealership floors.
“The Jeep brand’s partnership with Activision allows us to combine our new, more powerful, more exciting and more fuel-efficient Jeep Wrangler with the latest version of one of the most popular gaming experiences in the world,” said Mike Manley, President and CEO of Jeep Brand. Based on either the two or four door Wranglers, the MW3 features the new Pentastar 3.6 liter V6. Riddled with Mopar accessories such as a winch-ready front bumper, rear bumper, rock rails, taillamp guards and a fuel-filler door, the MW3 is ready for battle. To make it more capable, a dealer installed Warn winch, two inch lift kit, five spoke wheels and 32 inch off road tires come with.
Inside, there is model specific seats, gauge cluster graphics, steering wheel, trim stitching and floor mats all with Call of Duty logos. A Mopar supplied hood and more subtle logos round out the exterior which is available in black or bright silver. Everything that makes a Wrangler a Wrangler is present: live axles, part-time four wheel drive and excellent approach and depart angles.
