Happy birthday, Jeep Wrangler Rubicon. This collection of off-road madness, named after the brutal trail, has been a staple of the Jeep wrangler line for 10 years now, and jeep wants to celebrate.
The 10th Anniversary Edition Jeep takes Jeeps most capable showroom vehicle and cranks things up to 11. The new model features new all-steel bumpers that are winch-ready and feature removable end caps. Ground clearance has been increased by .5-inch and BF Goodrich KM2 tires are fitted as standard. Those giant wheels are mounted to 17-inch Rubicon rims with satin black details and red Wrangler “icon” logos on the lip.
The whole thing is covered in extra Mopar goodies like rock rails, black fuel-filler door and taillamp guards The hood also features an aggressive new dual intake Power Dome design. The 10th Anniversary Wrangler is only being sold in three colors; Billet Silver, White and a 10th Anniversary-exclusive Anvil.
The inside of the new Wrangler has new red leather seats with special embroidery, red contrast stitching through the cabin and a new premium Electronic Vehicle Information System (EVIC). The new EVIC system displays important information like oil and tire pressure and oil temperature.
This 4×4 monster will begin hitting showrooms this coming spring. To get an early look at all the new features and details, check out our high-resolution gallery below.
