Nissan’s premium brand Infiniti holds its heaviest market in the United States but that doesn’t mean it isn’t established anywhere else. Running straight at the likes of BMW and Mercedes-Benz, Nissan has been putting more and more investment into Infiniti Europe. Proof is in the ground breaking of the 45th european Infiniti showroom located in Luxembourg, Alzingen.
The centre will feature an Infiniti model range consisting of the G37 sedan, Coupe and Cabrio; EX and FX Crossovers; and M sedans including the M35h Hybrid. The centre will also showcase the all new 3.0 liter euro-spec diesel V6 found the FX, EX and M. These Europe-friendly models should allow Infiniti to break into the very competitive premium diesel segment and further expand the Infiniti name outside of America.
The Luxembourg centre should be complete by September 2011 and open one month later in October. It will also be one step closer to Nissan’s goal of 78 Infiniti Europe centers by 2013.
