Hyundai Motor Finance Company Opens New Facility In Austell, Georgia

Hyundai Motor Finance Company (HMFC) held grand opening ceremonies for its Southeast Regional Service Center in Austell, Ga. today. The new center will provide full retail credit and funding services for Hyundai and Kia dealers in the Southern and Eastern regions and allow HMFC to service its dealers more effectively from within the Eastern Time Zone.

 

“This new location is centrally located in the booming Atlanta metropolis,” said Michael Buckingham, president and chief executive officer, HMFC. “The Hyundai and Kia dealer base is growing and this new facility will enable us to offer even better service and quicker response time for our dealers.”

“The staff here at the Southeast Regional Service Center is highly experienced in the automotive industry. We were fortunate in that we found a great deal of automotive experience among the local labor force,” said Lori Toole, national manager, credit services, HMFC. “We hired locally and our dealers are pleased with the seasoned team.”

Isaac Dodoo, Acting Deputy District Director for Congressman David Scott cut the ribbon and addressed the crowd of Hyundai dealers, employees and invited guests. There will be a second opening ceremony for Kia dealers on November 15, 2007.

The facility's 20,000 square feet includes office and warehouse space with 23 full-time credit and funding employees. The address is 7775 The Bluffs, in Austell, Ga. which is just west of Atlanta and is considered “metro Atlanta.”
