American Honda will be issuing a voluntary recall on a select grouping of its SUVs for the same problem. Due to faulty wiring within the headlamp assembly, certain Pilot and CR-V models may lose their low-beam ability. The switch for the front head lights is to blame for the problem which can cause a Honda to go around and suddenly become unable to see. To fix the issue, Honda will inspect the wiring and replace the switch. This will take place in late April.

The affected vehicles are 2003 model year Pilot large SUVs and 2002 through 2004 compact CR-V models. So far, approximately 554,000 Hondas are being investigated, all of which are in the U.S. As of yet, no accidents or injuries have occurred because of the problem but Honda still encourages owners to take their utilities to a certified dealer as soon as they receive their notice.
