For 2013 Honda has given the CR-Z a solid once over, providing more power and better fuel economy.
The car has been given a new lithium-ion battery in place of the old nickel model that increases power output, giving the new model 130 horsepower and 140 lb/ft. Fuel economy has also been upped to 31 city and 38 hwy for the manual model, 36 city and 39 hwy for CVT equipped cars. Other drivetrain enhancements include a larger clutch and lower final drive for the manual transmission.
The price of the new car is $19,975, just short of $300 more than last year. A pretty impressive feat considering the amount of engineering work put into making the new car better.
