In the bike world, there have been few machines as anticipated as Honda’s new CRF1000L Africa Twin. With an all-new 998cc parallel-twin engine, optional dual-clutch transmission, standard ABS brakes, and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), this bike promises to herald a new age in adventure riding. Over the last few months Honda has been slowly teasing out new information about the bike, but they have waited until now to reveal the all-important pricing info.
The bike arrives next spring, and a base model with a manual transmission will run you $12,999. Opting for that fancy new DCT transmission bumps that price up to $13,699. Both bikes come standard with the ABS brakes and HSTC system, so you aren’t giving up any goodies if you prefer to shift your own gears.
