If you are one of the rare breed of people who finds the 707 supercharged horsepower of the Challenger Hellcat just a bit too mild and boring, you need to give John Hennessey a call. The legendary Texas tuner has just unleashed its HPE1000 package for the Mopar muscle car, and it brings the horsepower total 1032 angry ponies, and 987 pound-feet of torque.
The extra muscle is accomplished thanks to the additions of a pair of turbochargers, a new fuel pump, and a high-flow intake. And yes, those turbochargers work in tandem with the factory supercharger on top. That means you get a twin-charged, Hellcat with more than 1000 horsepower. This is what dreams are made of, friends.
According to Hennesseey, the car is good for a 0-60 sprint of just 2.7 seconds, and it will blow through the quarter mile in just 9.9 seconds with 142 mph showing on the time sheet. Talk about turning it up to 11. If you want to know how much this will cost you, just follow the “if you have to ask” rules, as Hennessey has no pricing posted on the site for this package.
