One thing that I both love and hate about automakers is their color choices. Most companies will opt for plain, boring colors for plain, boring people. This is especially infuriating when you are buying a car that is anything but plain, and most certainly not boring. Then you get a company like Dodge that will completely throw that book out the window, offering colors like “Plum Crazy” and “Sublime” green since the late ‘60s.
Now they’ve announced yet another off the wall color. Originally offered on the 1970 Challenger, “Go Mango” is an attention grabbing red/orange hue that showcases the legendary Mopar color pallet. It’s been offered a few times before, coming back in limited numbers for the 2006 Dodge Charger R/T and the 2016 Dart. Now it’s available starting immediately to not only the Challenger 392 and SRT Hellcat, but the Charger counterpart. So if you want a Charger or a Challenger with an SRT badge and a “look at me!” paint job, call your Dodge dealer right now. After all, special cars deserve special colors.
