General Motors (GM) has unveiled the redesigned Chevrolet Colorado pickups.
The automaker plans to reveal the 2015 Colorado at the Los Angeles Auto Show, reports Detroit Free Press.
The 2015 Colorado pickup will arrive at dealerships in fall 2014.
The Colorado, with a fully boxed steel frame, is 900 pounds lighter, 16 inches shorter, 5 inches narrower and 3 inches lower than the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado.
The standard powertrain is a 2.5-liter, 4-cylinder engine with 193 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. A 3.6-liter, 6-cylinder engine is an option, and the company will offer a 2.8-liter Duramax Turbo Diesel in the truck’s second year.
