Round three of the first season of Global Rally Cross is knocking on the door. With two rounds in the books, the star studded field of drivers find themselves in Pikes Peak, Colorado. Where, June 17-18 they will compete at Pikes Peak International Raceway in the final event of the season. World renown drivers Tanner Foust, Rhys Millen, Marcus Gronholm, Stephan Verdier, and Dave Mirra are just a few of the drivers competing for a chance to be crowned the first ever Global RallyCross Champion.
This event jump starts maybe the most famous week in all of motor sports leading up to the infamous Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. Each race in this series features a jump of at least 65ft and a combination of asphalt and dirt track. The overall winner of the series will receive an exemption to X-Games 17 RallyCross and Super Rally. Last GRC (Global RallyCross) event winner and X Games 16 gold medalist Tanner Foust looks to stay on top of the series and finish out a dominating year.
Metal Mulisha star Brian Deegan will be getting his feet wet in the series with his first appearance of the year.
