General Motors is investing $10 million to improve operations at its Swartz Creek Customer Care and Aftersales building, reports The Detroit News.
Work is expected to be completed by the fall.
The investment includes information technology upgrades, a new security office, health facilities, employee training center and UAW offices, adding 10,000-square-feet to the warehouse and making upgrades to paint systems.
The funds also will go toward a facelift for the administration building with a brick front and lawn area, GM said.
