Lexus decided to spruce up its GS line by stuffing a big V8 into the nose, giving it some more aggressive body work, and slapping an F badge on the rear. The new GS F was the latest in a volley of cars that are meant to spruce up the image of the luxury brand and bring in new buyers.
The motor is the same 5.0-liter V8 found in the RC F, and that means that you have a full 467 naturally-aspirated horsepower at the call of your right foot. That power is routed exclusively through an 8-speed automatic transmission and sent to the rear wheels, as God intended.
Along with that new powerplant is a face that is sexier, angrier, and more menacing than before. The large spindle grille is augmented by huge intakes on either side, and lower lip juts forward ready to devour ankles and roadways.
The car looks great, and we can’t wait to get our hands on one.
