The new Ferrari F12tdf is the faster, more hardcore version of its gorgeous F12 super-coupe. The name is short for Tour de France, which used to be a road race as well as a biking event. This V12-powered supercar cranks the horsepower and the visuals all the way to 11, and then it snaps the knob off.
Thanks to an even greater use of carbon in the body, as well as a gutted interior, the weight for this monster has been cut by almost 250 pounds, and the newly designed body increases downforce by a whopping 87-percent. Power from the 6.3-liter V12 has been bumped from 730 horsepower up to 769 raging ponies, and torque gets a small bump to 520 pound-feet. The transmission has also been retuned to be 30-percent faster on the upshift, and another 40-percent faster on the downshift. Ferrari also shortened the ratios for even better acceleration. The result is a 0-60 run of just 2.9 seconds, with 125 mph blasting by in less than 8-seconds.
