The 2016 Chevrolet Camaro is an all-new car built on a new platform that is shared with the Cadillac ATS. This new platform helps cut weight and make the new sixth-gen Camaro faster and more efficient. For 2016 there is a new engine for the Camaro as well, with a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder slotting in at the bottom of the lineup. There also V6 and V8 versions as well. Transmission options range from a six-speed manual to a new eight-speed automatic that is borrowed from the Corvette. The new Camaro features a modified design that is lower, sleeker and more aggressive than its predecessor.
