Volkswagen’s appearance at the LA Auto Show was marred by the current dark cloud hanging over the company regarding its TDI engines. While the German company was at the LA Show to debut its new Beetle Dune model, they spent substantial time discussing the ongoing debacle regarding their emissions.
For regular people walking into the auto show, the VW booth will be a fun and interesting look at the companies various wares. The usual collection of Golfs, Jetta and Passats were scattered around the clean and stylish booth, and the exciting things are positioned in the back. Volkswagen’s wild Golf GTE Concept, Beetle WRC car and the new Beetle Dune make a trio of must-see cars in the area. In fact, I’d say the WRC car and the GTE Concept are must-see machines for the show in general.
