If you wanted to see fun, interesting and wild cars, the Kia booth was the place to be this year at the LA Auto Show. Along with all of its current cars, the Kia booth was dominated by some of its concepts from SEMA. The four-door convertible Optima, silly Forte Mud-Bogger, and the off-road Trail Edition Sorento were all present and accounted for.
But aside from these hilarious and wonderful concepts, the real big news for Kia at the show was the unveiling of the US-spec 2017 Sportage. With crossover sales skyrocketing there isn’t a better time to create a new Sportage. This new model moves away from the brands current sharp and squared off styling to preview a new design language for the company that is a bit softer and happier with more rounded shapes.
