While Fiat and Alfa made a huge splash at the LA Auto Show, the rest of FCA was mostly taking up space. There was nothing new to debut or show off from Jeep, Chrysler, RAM or Dodge. As such, the booth featured just a collection of some of the brand’s current popular machines like the Hellcat twins, RAM Rebel, and of course the Viper and several Jeeps. The coolest part of the whole booth was actually a simulation racing rig set up at the back of the booth.
The rig was inside of a viper shell with a full interior that would actually move and rock as you drove around the track. The game was Assetto Corsa, and it looked amazing. Dodge even went so far as to wire up the dash so it would display in-game speed and more. Needless to say, there was quite a line for that one.
Beyond those few interesting touches, there wasn’t much to get excited about for this group.
