The Buick and Cadillac booths at the LA Auto Show are both very small, but they are at least separated. The GMC booth is just as small, but without a full aisle of separation, it feels more like its attached to the Chevy booth. There was the cool lifted truck display so you can see the magic that goes into the chassis and drivetrain of the new Sierra, but there isn’t a lot of interesting stuff at GMC.
Chevrolet on the other hand, has one of the largest spaces at the show.
From their Red Line concepts they took to SEMA, to the special C.7R Edition C7 Corvette, and basically everything else in-between, Chevy even brought a bad ass second-generation Camaro to sit next to the new sixth-gen car near the back of the booth. Other notable cars include the new Malibu Hybrid and the second-generation Volt. That yellow Corvette is still my favorite, thanks to that awesome ‘Jake” decal on the hood.
Also, big congrats to Chevy for winning Car of the Year and Truck of the Year from Motor Trend with the new Camaro and Colorado.
